02/11/10 Knoxville: Victory! The Tennessee Department of Trans-portation just announced it will build two bike lanes on the Henley St. Bridge instead of another lane for cars.
The announcement comes in response to the recommendation by the City of Knoxville, whose recommendation came in response to Jack Neely's piece last month (or as they put it, "strong public support" at a meeting about the issue. Sure). <read more>
