Welcome to the home of Cleveland's local champion for a healthy biking and walking community! We love our city and want to work to make it even better through education, service, connectivity, and advocacy.
We aim to share knowledge within our community about walking, running, and biking, including the health benefits of these activities. We seek to help make walking, running, and biking a viable mode of transportation for more in our community, and do so by partnering with others to improve the walking corridors in our neighborhoods and connect to schools, shops, and other businesses.
We help local government with plans to improve walking, running, and biking corridors such as sidewalks, crossings, greenways, and walking paths. We also encourage traffic calming strategies that will make walking, running, and biking safe, easy, and enjoyable.
We hope to connect Cleveland neighborhoods to the greenway system, the downtown area, and to schools with pedestrian and biking improvements. We also seek to connect outlying areas to schools and other neighborhood centers.
Bike Walk Cleveland works with the community and local businesses to advocate for policies, infrastructure, and funding that will improve walking, running, and biking in all areas of our community. We also work alongside our statewide organization, Bike Walk Tennessee, to advocate for biking and walking across our state.
Our ability to affect positive change in Cleveland is only as great as the number of supporters we have. We invite you to support bicycling and walking in Cleveland by making a tax-deductible gift.
