Welcome to the home of Brentwood’s local champion for a healthy biking and walking community! We love our city and want to work to make it even better through education, infrastructure, and awareness.
Education and Awareness
We are committed to bringing education to our citizens and community leaders about the benefits of walking and biking. We are committed to bringing awareness of laws for safe walking and biking. We do this through community events, outreach, and communication.
Bike and Pedestrian Infrastructure
We work to make Brentwood more walkable and bikeable. From every area of Brentwood, we want to connect neighborhoods, schools, parks, and businesses with safe sidewalks, trails, and bike paths.
We support the local region and the statewide Bike Walk Tennessee organization. With support of involved citizens and businesses, we believe that local funding for improving walking and biking should be prioritized yearly as part of the Brentwood City budget.
Brentwood - New Multiuse Path
We have a new multiuse path in town! This new 2.6 miles of path runs North and South along the East side of Franklin Road in Brentwood. The path
begins just South of Moores Lane and ends at Concord Road in the North and has 102 feet of climbing. As of now the trail exists in isolation to all
other multimodal infrastructure in Brentwood. We look forward to working with the city and other local organizations to integrate this path with the
surrounding community and existing multimodal network.
Brentwood Mountain Bike Trails
Bike Walk Brentwood is partnering with the City of Brentwood on the mountain bike trails at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park.
Our ability to affect positive change in Brentwood is only as great as the number of supporters we have. We invite you to support bicycling and walking in Brentwood by making a tax-deductible gift. If you would like to make a donation, click this link.
